The Spartans will play exhibition games against Connecticut in a home-and-home agreement announced Thursday. Michigan State play at Connecticut on Oct. 28 and host the Huskies in 2026, although a date for that matchup hasn’t been set yet.

Michigan State has been no stranger to the high level exhibitions, playing Tennessee two years ago. This year, the Spartans will be facing off against the UConn Huskies. Michigan State and UConn will be facing off on Oct. 28 in Storrs, Connecticut, giving the Spartans a nice early road trip in an exhibition fashion.

UConn has to a home-and-home exhibition series with Michigan State, beginning on Oct. 28, 2025 in Connecticut. The Huskies will return the game in East Lansing on a date to be determined in 2026.
