Fantastic Four, First Steps and Matt Shakman

First Steps is coming in lighter than projections in its first box office weekend with $117.6 million. Still records were broken.
As the filmmaker’s three-year journey wound down on the project, he realized a key moment was missing, and managed to shoot it within a few months of the film's opening.
In response, fans have begun calling for The Fantastic Four to get a Snyder Cut-style "Shakman Cut", with John Malkovich's Red Ghost character back in the film. (One brief mention of Red Ghost still remains, and we see one of his evil Super-Apes in a montage, but that's about it.)
Pedro Pascal is the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, but he is not the new leader of the Avengers. At least that’s what the actor says… for now.
First Steps director Matt Shakman was discreet when questioned about Robert Downey Jr.’s role in the post-credits scene, choosing not to reveal any details and leaving the discussion to fans.
