Thailand and Cambodia reaffirmed their shaky ceasefire violation after days of fighting along their border, as China stepped in to negotiate with the two countries. The ceasefire reached in Malaysia was supposed to take effect at midnight on Monday,

Thailand’s military accused Cambodian forces on Wednesday of breaching a ceasefire agreement at three separate locations along the disputed border, warning that continued aggression could compel Thai forces to respond more decisively.

The leaders of Cambodia and Thailand agreed to a ceasefire in a bid to bring an end to their deadliest conflict in more than a decade.
