The Lions signed Zeitler to a 1-year, $6 million deal last offseason which paid off with a mostly healthy and productive season. Late in the regular season finale, Zeitler strained his right hamstring which kept him out of the playoff game two weeks later. The hamstring shouldn't be an issue going forward.

The Lions have re-signed veteran wide receiver Tim Patrick on a one-year deal. Set to turn 32 years old this fall, Patrick is now entering his eighth season in the NFL. The Broncos cut Patrick last summer after failing to finalize a trade and he landed in Detroit.

With the first big wave of free agency in the books, needs for the upcoming draft are starting to come more into focus. That means mock drafts will even more fast and furious with about six weeks until the draft.
