Johnny Depp reportedly is considering a return to one of his most popular roles: Captain Jack Sparrow. Pirates of the Caribbean Producer Jerry Bruckheimer tells EW that he’s had talks with Depp about reprising the swashbuckling character in a sixth Pirates film.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bruckheimer revealed that he has spoken to Depp about coming back for the sixth Pirates film, and the actor is at least open to the idea. The famous Producer explained: If he likes the way the part's written,

Bruckheimer previously told EW that he was eager for Depp to return to the role, despite Disney cutting ties with Depp, which the actor claimed happened as a result of the publication of a 2018 op-ed in which his ex-wife, Amber Heard, wrote that she had been a victim of domestic abuse but did not mention Depp by name.
