Jessica Simpson released a new single, "Fade," on July 22 that is a thinly veiled reference to her husband Eric Johnson, whom she split from earlier this year after 10 years of marriage and three kids.

The "Open Book" author is back on the market after announcing in January that she and Johnson had separated after 10 years of marriage.
