McKneely, who stars for Poca High School in Poca, West Virginia, has had Zoom calls with IU coach Archie Miller and assistant coach Tom Ostrom in recent weeks.

For his college career, McKneely has connected on 42.6% of his 408 attempts from beyond the 3-point arc. That has him on pace to challenge Kyle Guy’s program career record of 42.5%.
