An ETF that tracks stocks in India is struggling to rebound from its recent losing streak, after President Trump imposed 25% tariffs on the country — and then threatened even steeper levies.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump again threatened on Monday to raise tariffs on goods from India over its Russian oil purchases, while New Delhi called his attack "unjustified" and vowed to protect its economic interests, deepening the trade rift between the two countries.

India has also come under Trump’s fire as a member of intergovernmental grouping BRICS, which is led by U.S.-sanctioned countries Russia, China and Iran, as well as Brazil and South Africa. Trump threatened an additional 10% tariff on BRICS members, which he said were aligning themselves against the U.S.
