Irvine City Council members, and city hall officials say federal immigration authorities are expected to conduct a sweep in town today.
The ICE raids in California, and the Trump administration's decision to deploy National Guard troops, to Los Angeles, touched off a wave of demonstrations and arrests other U.S. cities.
