Vice President JD Vance tried Wednesday to rewrite the history of what happened before ABC suspended late-night host Jimmy Kimmel last week, saying a commissioner on the Federal Communications Commission merely made “a joke on social media” on the subject of Kimmel.
A group of Democratic U.S. senators, including California's Adam Schiff, Wednesday demanded that Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr give them "all information on FCC communications" with ABC, Disney or "any of their affiliates" relating to the Jimmy Kimmel controversy.
