The Baltimore Water Taxi temporarily suspended its Harbor Trolley service after a diesel fuel spill in the Baltimore Harbor.

A 2,000-gallon diesel spill from tanks on the Johns Hopkins Hospital campus in East Baltimore that contaminated a portion of the Baltimore harbor had been contained as of Thursday morning, officials say.

Emergency crews are racing against the threat of rain in the forecast, which could derail clean-up efforts in a "worst case scenario," according to Baltimore Fire Chief James Wallace.
