His .964 mark in seven games at the 2021 World Junior Championship earned him tournament MVP honors along with a silver medal. Levi was a seventh-round pick by the Florida Panthers in 2020.

Levi, who turns 24 in December, started each of the last two seasons in the NHL only to end up in the AHL. Last season, he posted a 2.20 goals-against average and .919 save percentage in Rochester.
