Two Denver police officers and one Denver Public Schools safety officer fatally shot a man fleeing law enforcement Monday night outside of a Westwood middle school.

One man was killed in a police shooting near a Denver middle school, after officers responded to a report and gunfire was exchanged with an armed suspect. The man's identity is pending formal identification.
