Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) stock rose 3% Monday morning, paring recent declines as CEO Lip-Bu Tan prepares for a White House meeting following President Trump’s demand for his resignation last week.

Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan is set to visit the White House Monday after President Trump called for his removal last week over ties to Chinese businesses, according to people familiar with the matter.

Trump appears to be deaf to his own accusations of Tan’s “conflicts of interest,” with the President frequently using his position to market his own goods from the Trump Store, as well as launching the $TRUMP cryptocurrency of which the President controls 80% of the coin's supply.
