Hwy. 178 was closed earlier this evening as crews battle the Richbar Fire that’s burning near the Upper Richbar area.

A large brush fire that erupted near Lake Piru in Ventura County and spread into Los Angeles County continued to burn on Saturday, though crews made significant progress with containment.
