The Los Angeles Dodgers are finalizing a trade for Minnesota Twins reliever Brock Stewart, ESPN's Jeff Passan reported Thursday. The Dodgers are sending outfielder James Outman back to the Twins as part of the deal, per Alden González of ESPN.

The Los Angeles Dodgers entered Thursday's trade deadline looking for relief help — and they'll get it in the form of one of their former pitching prospects.

The Twins are serious about this. They're not going to wait around and allow a needed reset to become a long rebuild. Next out the door in what is very much a fire-sale: Brock Stewart, to his former organization.
