Biden’s Final Pardons Face Scrutiny
New details emerged regarding concerns raised by former Biden administration officials about the legitimacy of pardons and commutations issued during President Joe Biden’s final days in office. Allegations center on the use of an autopen to authorize clemency decisions,
President Donald Trump said Joe Biden's use of the autopen to sign pardons was illegal and that the former president didn't know what he was signing.
Toward the end of the Biden administration, Hunter Biden was involved with the pardon discussions and attended a few meetings,” a source revealed of Zients’ testimony.
The document specifically lists “pardon letters” under the category of documents for which Biden should not use the autopen.
Former Biden chief of staff Jeff Zients told investigators Hunter Biden joined pardon discussions toward the end of his father's term, a source said.
A senior whistleblower has come forward with explosive claims about President Biden’s final pardons, alleging that they were tightly controlled by top White House officials—Ron Klain, Anita Dunn, and Bob Bauer—who may have profited from access.
The House Oversight Committee is also investigating whether top White House officials were seeking to conceal the former president's deteriorating health.
