Jamie Borthwick, best known for playing Jay Brown in EastEnders, has been suspended by the BBC after footage emerged of him using a derogatory term about disabled people on the set of Strictly Come Dancing.

Bobby Brazier is set to wave goodbye to EastEnders after playing Freddie Slater for four years. The 22-year-old actor and model, who finished as runner-up on Strictly Come Dancing in 2023, has been enticed away by numerous offers and will make his Albert Square departure later this year.
