January may be over but there are still big things happening in the market as teams prepare for the remainder of the season and the upcoming summer transfer window.

Manchester United have made a striker amongst their highest priorities this summer as Ruben Amorim seeks to find an injection of goals into his stuttering side.

Arsenal have no immediate plans to sign a free agent in response to the hamstring injury that is likely to keep Kai Havertz out for the rest of the season. The German forward sustained an injury during the club’s warm-weather training camp in Dubai and was due to face further tests on the club’s arrival back in England.

The injury to Havertz adds to Arsenal's fitness issues up front, with Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli all currently out.

Arsenal could be the frontrunners to sign Borussia Dortmund star Karim Adeyemi in the summer as the winger has reportedly joined the same agency as Kai Havertz. The Gunners are said to be chasing the 23-year-old’s signature, with Chelsea also interested in the ace.
