JUBA, June 27 (Xinhua) -- The 12th batch of the Chinese medical team on Friday offered free medical services to university students in Juba, the capital of South Sudan.

The move marks the latest university resignation tied to President Trump's national effort to scrutinize and scale back diversity efforts at universities.

University of Virginia president James Ryan announced his resignation Friday amid pressure by the US Department of Justice for the university to dismantle its diversity, equity and inclusion programs.
