Kalamazoo’s Y Bar & Bistro, 2941 Howard St., is currently under a police investigation after a report last week from a woman who said she believes she and more than a dozen friends were drugged.

The Y Bar has been a known hangout spot for Western Michigan University students. However, it would draw large crowds escalating into scenarios of gun violence when it was open, according to KDPS.

Y Bar & Bistro is no longer being investigated by the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS). "We have not found anything to substantiate that there was tampering with the drinks.
