A Columbia Public Schools administrator will transition to a different school in the district. Matt Ross will start as the principal of West Middle School in 2025-26 school year.

West Middle School is one of ten schools DPS will be restructuring or closing next fall due to low enrollment and high costs to keep the buildings functioning at their best.
