A large fire destroyed a 125-year-old building in downtown Kernersville that housed the Caudill Electric Co.It is a total loss.

Authorities are investigating a fire at an apartment building in Boyertown, Berks County.

Baumgardner said the department hasn't confirmed what caused the fire, but said it originated in the wood-burning oven and possibly spread through its exhaust system.
