The new $1.2 million dollar water tower will supply the village’s 600 residents with fresh drinking water and consist of just under 100,00 lbs. of steel and rising 125 feet into the air.

The village broke ground Monday on its new 200,000-gallon elevated water storage tower near the intersection of Basinger Road and Welty Street, on the site of the village’s industrial park.
