ORLANDO, Fla. — New laws are taking effect in Florida on July 1, 2025, including protections for hotel owners and operators, and more rights for boaters.

A total of 243 new Indiana laws were approved this year by the Republican-controlled General Assembly and enacted by new Republican Gov. Mike Braun.
