Giant silo art conveys grain of truth A THIRD grain silo in western Victoria has been covered with a massive artwork as part of a plan for a 200km outdoor art trail in the state’s wheatbelt.

Yarriambiack Mayor Ray Kingston said the new art silos would be at Rupanyup, Roseberry, Sheep Hills, Lascelles and Patchewollock, which, along with Brim, would create a six-silo mural trail.

A $4-million art project in Victoria's north-west will open today, but it's been the focus of controversy in the Mildura community over ticket prices, which locals say are unaffordable.
