Veterans Day is celebrated on Nov. 11—the day the armistice ending World War I was signed—every year, regardless of what day it falls on.

Spring Lake's Veterans Day event and the Art Mural Unveiling is at 11 a.m. Friday at 412 S. Main St. A mural on the outside wall of the Stitch-In-Time building will be unveiled.
