When the ID.4 originally arrived, VW seemed to forget about how those mainstream crossover drivers were used to relatively simple interfaces. It didn’t match that mainstream ethos at all.

For now, VW is only building the ID.4 with the larger, 82-kilowatt-hour battery pack; the 62-kWh pack will rejoin the lineup later in 2025, with all models to gain additional content sometime midyear.
