Union Street Coffee Roastery is one of several businesses impacted by the water main break. Work to repair the water main and the sinkhole the break closed several surrounding streets in the process.

It currently has two locations in the city. Its roastery, which sells coffee beans to over 600 businesses and has an on-site cafe, is at 1 Diamond St. Its other coffeehouse is at 67 India St.

Starbucks employees who work at the company’s Reserve Roastery, a 35,000-square-foot store at 646 N. Michigan Ave., filed for a union election with the National Labor Relations Board on Friday.
