(CNN) — President Donald Trump is pulling the United States out of the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization or UNESCO, a White House official told CNN.
The Trump administration announced Tuesday that the U.S. would pull out of a United Nations agency over its "globalist, ideological agenda" and anti-Israel bias.
This will be the third time that the United States leaves UNESCO, which is based in Paris, and the second time during a Trump administration.
