A second type of bird flu has been found in U.S. dairy cows for the first time, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced on Wednesday.

Raw samples nationwide will now be collected and shared with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to test for bird flu, according to a new federal order issued Friday.
