A UAW leader said Mary Sheffield shouldn't have used the UAW's logo to promote a campaign event. But union members — not Sheffield — made the flyer.

UAW Local 7 member Lynda Jackson has said members of her local and Local 51 were behind the flyer and not Sheffield. "Honestly this whole thing has been blown outta proportion," Jackson wrote on X.
