NEAR ARVILLA, N.D.--Nearly every morning for the past 23 years, Steve Crandall has driven through Turtle River State Park before attending to the duties that need attending when you're a park manager.

Beginning Thursday, Turtle River State Park kicks off a weekend of events dedicating the new CCC Memorial Visitor Center and commemorating the park's 75th anniversary. Call it a mix of old and new.
