American Apparel issued a public apology Thursday after the company posted a stylized picture to its Tumblr page of the space shuttle Challenger disaster.

NASA has joined Tumblr, launching four new profiles August 7. The profiles include ones for astronaut Peggy Whitson, the Juno mission to Jupiter and the Curiosity Rover.
