People in Eldora are working to clean up significant debris after strong straight-line winds swept through Hardin County early Friday morning, causing extensive tree damage and power outages.

A tree, located between the Trump rally shooter and the sniper team closest to him, may have impaired the team's line of sight, according to a CBS News analysis.

Around 4:25 p.m., officials with Chesapeake Roads tweeted that Head of River Road was closed near the Chesapeake/Virginia Beach city line due to a downed tree and powerline.
