Toyota is planning more GR Sport models for the U.S. market. The 2026 Toyota RAV4 is the first GR Sport trim that will be sold here, and it's based on the 320-hp plug-in hybrid version.

However, Toyota's legacy all began with the Crown. In 2023, Toyota decided to revamp the Crown lineup to include the sedan, crossover, estate, and a sleek and sporty SUV called the Crown Sport.

Toyota calls it Crossover-type Crown, and Toyota will soon roll out three more variants of the Crown between the fall of 2023 and 2024 for the 2024 through 2025 model years.

Rollout for the Sport and sedan models will begin in the fall, with the PHEV Sport model following in winter and the wagons at an unspecified time next year. 2024 Toyota Crown wagon.

Toyota unveiled its slick electric Sport Crossover concept for the first time in Europe on Monday. The new fastback EV, made with China’s BYD, will launch in 2025.
