Trickum Middle School principal Ryan Queen sent a letter to parents stating that a staff member suspected the student had marijuana in their backpack, according to Fox 5 Atlanta.

The quick response of the school principal and the SRO enabled us to intercept the student and confiscate the gun which was not loaded. Two bullets were also found in the student’s backpack.
