MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - An Ole Miss freshman was killed and four people were injured after a shooting on Saturday night. The shooting happened before 10:15 p.m. outside a home on Fern Glade Cove.

Ole Miss football player Corey Adams was shot and killed at a pool party in Cordova, Tennessee. Adams' mother pleaded for help in finding those responsible for her son's death.

Adams was set to start his first year of football with Ole Miss this fall. He moved to Oxford in January, an early enrollment, to take part in the team's spring practice. Adams played defensive end.
