During the postseason NCAA transfer portal window, the Texas Longhorns turned over a significant portion of the roster under first-year head coach Jim Schlossnagle, ranging from players who saw little or no playing time in 2025 to several starters who struggled at the plate.

Eleven of this offseason's 16 transfers were recruited to Texas by former UT coach David Pierce. Moffett, Rerick, Stewart and Winfield were all Jim Schlossnagle recruits and Navarre signed with Schlossnagle at both Texas A&M and Texas.

Since the 2025 campaign came to an end, Longhorns baseball has wasted no time improving their roster. That has led to multiple additions in the transfer portal, including Kaleb Freeman. The former Georgia State star is coming off one of the best seasons of his career.
