The Dyer restaurant is the 20th Texas Roadhouse in Indiana, said Sheldon, who will run the restaurant with Ashley Vechera, service manager. Booths and tables in the restaurant will seat 260.

Texas Roadhouse was founded by Kent Taylor in 1993. Its first location opened in Clarksville, Indiana. Taylor opened the first Bubba's 33 in Fayetteville, North Carolina, in 2013.

Texas Roadhouse has opened 12 new locations of its flagship chain and Bubba's 33 this year in states such as Texas and Kentucky, where the company is based, a spokesperson told USA TODAY on May 27.
