Israel launched a series of airstrikes against Iran on Friday, June 13, targeting key military, nuclear infrastructures across Iran. The Israeli attack on Iran was a pre-planned attack, as Tel Aviv deployed 200 Air force fighters.
President Donald Trump told ABC News that "it's possible we could get involved" in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran. The president made the comments to ABC News' Rachel Scott. He also reiterated that the U.S. is "not at this moment involved" in the conflict.
Israel also attacked Iran’s defense ministry’s headquarters, while Iran fired missiles at Israel, in the most direct and prolonged attacks between the rivals ever.
