BAYTOWN, Texas (KTRK) -- A teen boy is in custody after he allegedly shot and killed a teenage girl at a playground in an apartment complex in Baytown on Friday afternoon.

In 2023, an underage girl’s family took her to a local hospital for a mental health check. During that visit, she reported that Friedt had sexually abused her, according to charging documents.
