There are 89 improved sites complete with 50/30/20-amp electrical service, water access, parking pads and fire rings, district officials said. There are 10 primitive sites for tents-only camping.

The festival was canceled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, but returned in 2021 for its ninth year and continued in 2022, 2023 and 2024. Rock the South will present its 13th festival in 2025.
