In a Facebook post on Monday afternoon, October 14, St. Mary’s Catholic School said staff could enter the buildings and retrieve items they needed to resume classes at remote locations.

WESTVILLE – The 107-year-old St. Mary's School will close at the end of the school year, despite recent efforts by parents, the parish and the Westville community to keep it open.

St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic School was filled with music and artwork at its inaugural Veterans Day program on Tuesday. The school typically holds a patriotic event in the spring.
