Hong Kong/Seoul (CNN) — Three varieties of “fire chicken” instant ramen noodles popularized by a viral internet challenge have been recalled in Denmark after they were deemed to be too spicy.

Add the noodles and reserved sauce. Cook for 1 minute. Add the basil, mint, and cilantro; toss to mix. Serve hot; garnish with the peanuts.

A South Korean company's spicy noodles were recalled by Denmark's food authorities after the products were found to contain too much capsaicin, which is a neurotoxin.

Cup Noodles' Spicy Chile Chicken flavor was first introduced at the start of the 2010s, and as with many instant ramen products it's unclear exactly when (or why) it was discontinued.

Set aside. Cook the noodles according to the packet instructions. About 30 seconds before they’re done, add the spinach to wilt, then drain. Tip the noodles and spinach back into the pan.
