Sharmarke Issa of Edina, 40, facilitated a money laundering operation and gained millions through fake vendors for the Feeding Our Future (FOF) scam, according to prosecutors, Kare11 reported.

Sharmarke Issa served a three-year term on the MPHA beginning in 2019, and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey appointed him to a second term in November 2021 and designated him as board chair.
