SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — WESH 2 sat down with Seminole County Superintendent Serita Beamon ahead of the first day of school on Monday, Aug. 12.
Superintendent Serita Beamon announced during her State of Our Schools address that Seminole County Schools have once again received an ‘A’ rating.
Abby Sanchez, 57, of Longwood, is the incumbent District 3 board member. A former elementary school teacher, Sanchez was first elected in 2016 and serves as the board’s chairperson.
