The sea eagle, one of the world’s largest living birds of prey with an 8-foot wingspan, was said to be widespread through the British Isles until the last bird was shot in 1918.
Bird-watchers have been tracking a Steller’s sea eagle. They’re usually found in Asia, but this one turned up in Eastern Canada and may have flown as far as South Texas.
