Shortly after 3:45 p.m. on June 21, officers with the South Salt Lake Police Department received a report about a possible body in the Jordan River.

A man drowned in the Salt River near the Blue Point Recreation Area around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
