More than 60% of Americans said they play video games at least one hour each week, according to the ESA survey, with 68% saying they play to relax, 67% to have fun and 37% to keep their mind sharp.

On average, the youngsters reported spending 2.5 hours a day watching TV or online videos, 1 hour playing video games, and half an hour socializing over the internet.
